Hot shot rookie race car Lightning McQueen is living life in the fast lane. On his way to a tie-breaking race, he accidentally detours through Radiator Springs where his speeding damages some property. Before he can leave town, McQueen is sentenced to fix the damage and he falls in love and makes some true friends, changing his view on what it means to be a winner.
